Filters Enhanced Focus and Focus Restoration

Hello team.
I tried applying the above filters to some pictures but, although the small pictures are showing nice improvements, I can't see the same improvement on the real picture.
I checked in the forum but I've been able to find only a similar post that is now 4 years old with no solution.
I just wonder if I'm missing anything (a plug in?), I'm doing anything wrong or what else.
Any advice, please?
