XnView Software

OK, just installed XnView on my Macbook Pro. Looks pretty nice, but I am not getting thumbnails for videos? I have tried both settings of the Video thumbnail option (4 thumbnails instead of 1), but no change. I get the preview of videos, which works great.

Picture thumbnails are there, and created very quickly, but not videos. What am I doing wrong?

Do I need to install ffmpeg separately along with XNview to get video thumbnails?

Thanks, Pierre. Am quite pleased with it in general. I have a Windows vmware environment (lots of them, actually) and will try it there, too.
