Contact Video Sheet -- Mp4

Hi everybody,
hopefully this is a topic I simply didn't find allthough discussed over and over ...
I am trying to make a "Contact Sheet" from mp4 videos using the latest Version of XnView 1.99.5 on Widows XP. With DV everything always went fine. With MP4, the option for a "Vieo Contact Sheet" ist greyed out, the option for simple Contact Sheet, as used for pics, is given but leads to a Contact Sheet specified by the settings but with no pics.
Any help appreciated.
