Unable to read XBS files created earlier

I was running 1.50A Beta and LOVING it. WOW what a GREAT piece of software.
Now I've converted to 1.51 and I cannot open my old .XBS scripts. It's a disaster!
I am also unable to reinstall now for some reason. I get the side-by-side error that has to do with C++ Redist 2008 which I have installed.
I cannot seem to roll back and this inability to open the old files is terrible.
I MUST be doing something wrong as no one else is complaining. It's happening on TWO computers of mine, not just 1. It IS working on a 3rd computer.
Should I maybe copy over the entire directory from my "Program Files" over?
I am really confused.
I am running the 64 bit version and they all show the same thing in the About tab.
I'll try the copy over Program files folder.
Maybe it has to do with lack of installation of XnView first? I have not yet installed it on the non-functional machines.
