XnView crash after virtual memory dialog

I have not been keeping close watch on the circumstances, but at least for versions >=1.74 the following occurs on my laptop:

Environment: XP SP2
RAM: 384Mb

1. In attempting to resize certain rather large images even larger, I specify, say, 300% in the resize dialog and click OK.

2. If the original image is large, sometimes Windows intervenes with a dialog saying that it is expanding virtual memory. I click OK.

3. XNView issues a GPF and closes.

My solution has been to resize virtual memory manually, reboot and proceed. But I always seem to have images that cause Windows to expand the swap file.

The bug I am reporting is XNView's failure to continue after Windows has resized virtual memory.

I'm using Win2k 512MB 64MB 'fixed' virtual memory.

I tried resizing 1600 x 1200 jpg to 16000 x 12000 with <shift s>, but program crashed immediately.
