XnView Software

I am running XnView Version 1.99.6 on Win7Pro 64bit.

Under options I have selected space = Go to next picture.
This option worked when I first loaded the software yesterday.

Today I have a tag box on each picture and the space bar puts a red check mark in the tag box.
I can clear the tag box but it reappears if I hit the space bar.

Also under Options I have selected Mouse Wheel = Zoom.
It will Zoom smaller but when I zoom larger the picture is stuck at the larger size and cannot be adjusted further.

IF I also select Mouse Wheel = Previous/Next file.
Nothing happens when I scoll my mouse wheel.

I am a newbie on XnView, have been using IrfanView, like the software a lot but I need a little help here.

View>Tag>Show tag box is active?

I tried that before I posted.
As stated in my first post: I can clear the tag box.
I did this as stated in the above message.

When I hit the space bar the tag box reappears and places a red check mark in the box.

If no further suggestions arrive, I will uninstall, reboot & reinstall next.

XnView consists of a browser and a viewer (sometimes referred to as “modes”).
In browse mode, the spacebar can be used for tagging and untagging selected thumbnails.
The spacebar's function in view mode is customizable:

• Tools » Options... » General » Keyboard/Mouse
  • » Keyboard/Mouse » Keyboard » Space:
    • Go to next picture vs. Start/Stop Quick Slideshow
