Hi,

I'm only think to use XnView and there is a question: does XnView
slide-show support transition effects?

In XnView 1.66, transition effects are not supported, yet. Not sure what Pierre's plans are regarding this.
XnView DeLuxe 2.0, the commercial version of XnView supports about 30 transitions (see http://www.xzeos.net/index_uk.htm for a Trial version).
