XnViewMP viewer tries to show all files, but not only images

1) Folder contains images and other files (other files i.e. not images by definition - something like raw binary or database files, etc).
2) I click on a picture in Explorer
3) New XnViewMP
viewer tries to show all files (it shows empty background instead of "other files"), but not only images.
This is very uncomfortably for me. How to avoid this behavior?

Could you please check menu "View > Filter By" and see what is checked? If "Custom" is checked, you might change it to "Images". If "Images" does not show you enough files, you can set the custom filter in menu "Tools > Settings..." | category "Browser > File list" | tab "Custom filter".
@All: Perhaps the default settings of XnView Classic and XnView MP differ. Could someone please check?

Hello,
Here, even if "Images" is checked, on the next "XnViewMP open" the setting go back to "Custom", probably a bug ?
XnViewMP 0.51 Linux X64 - Ubuntu 12.04 X64
PS: ... but you can change by hand, into the xnview.ini file: filter=4 to filter=0 for "images"

This helps if you open XnViewMP Browser (not Viewer) and then click on file in Explorer.
But if XnViewMP has not been previously opened, you get this right after click on file in Explorer:
(4 images, 2 binary, you can see last image file name in header)
