XnView Software

I have no problem with the naming "Folder Tabs"
however, I feel others are still unhappy about it. Hence this poll.

Please post any other suggestions below...

"Folder Tabs" is the term that is commonly used in application (maybe not in all, but in most). So there must be a really good reason to change this.

I can sleep at night with "Folder Tabs", but I prefer only tabs because there are no other tabs in XnView.

Hmmm. Name one.

XnView is the only app i've ever seen "folder tabs" in.

my suggestion would be "tab bar".

- In file-managers certainly, but not in image-viewers…
- Where do you see any “folder” in the tabs of XnView ? They content image-files, not folders… The current designation is a piece of nonsense, IMHO.
- The only special case is the browser-tab, but isn't a folder, since it's a display-mode.
- I would prefer “Files tabs”, but since it isn't proposed, I voted in favour of "Image tab".

Now, I think you're right. Think "Tabs" is the right word and the area where the Tabs reside is the "Tab bar".

Sigh, I wish I could have added "Tab Bar" and "File Tabs"

FAIK, you can still edit your post and change the poll and add options. Not sure whether the poll result will be reset or not.

I like WIndow Tabs since in the end that's what's behind them. Windows.
