Question
In the XnView browser, simply select 2-4 files and then select "Tools > Compare...". The compare dialog will open up and display the selected images.
There's the toolbar and the context menu (right mouse click) that can be used for scrolling, zooming and more.
Mouse can be used as follows:
- Mouse wheel will zoom all images.
- By pressing the left mouse button and moving the mouse, you will move all images.
- If you want to move just one image, use right mouse button and move the mouse.
Visually…

Hello !
- To get the "Compare" window :
1. Open a folder in the browser,
2. Select two (or more) thumb-nails,
3. Get the local-menu (right-click
on the thumb-nail board)
>> Compare… entry. Or use the same entry from the normal "Tools" menu.
- You get a new window in which the selected pics are shown as blown-up.
You can compare them visually, and change the zoom from the small upper tool-bars… etc.
- Of course, that denomination is a bit confusing, since it's a visual comparison only, and not a binary one or any else…
- Hoping this helps,

Kind regards,
Claude
