IPTC edition question

Hello,

I have a question regarding IPTC editing.

Let's say I have edited the IPTC information of a folder : half of the pictures with the XX infos, the other helf with the XY infos. So they share some information but differ in some fields (and sometimes, some infos differ inside the same fields).

It seems that if I have to add a new IPTC info to the all folder, there's no way to do so while keeping the previous infos intact. If I select all the pictures to add the new IPTC information, all the infos will be overwritten, mixing XX and XY informations.

How to add a new IPTC info without affecting all the previous IPTC informations ?
So, how to get : XX+Z and XY+Z instead of XYZ for every photo ?

Thank you !

Oooh I get it : the IPTC window just shows the values of the first picture of the selection. Therefore, adding a value there and combine it with all the selected pictures will add all the values of that first picture as well.
You have to clear the values (which doesn't actually delete the iptc values of the picture) in order to add only the new values you want.

It's obvious once you get it...

Thanks !
