First of all: XnView definitely IS the best image
viewer - I have tried them ALL
Even more with all the new features like e.g.
Dual Monitor Support (!), soon it'll also replace
ACDSee 3.1 completely for me.
It just seems as if there still were a few minor
glitches -- below is what unfortunately happens
with the graphics if I change between ('real', or
what is it called?) full screen and browser more
than two times. The browser display brakes down almost completely, as back in old Win9x times when GDI resources were running low:

Also browser window layout obviously is not remembered - after a restart the folder tree always becomes almost invisibly narrow (although still there).
Finally, the next/previous picture prefetch still only seems to work in ('real'?) full screen, but not in picture viewer (is it called F11?) fullscreen. The latter still shows delay when changing to the next/previous picture.
Pls. forgive my criticism at the very beginning
of v.1.8 - keep up the fantastic work, and please try to keep it as fast, slim and un-bloated as always
Thanks, David.P
PS: System is PIV-2Ghz, WinXP-SP2, 1Gig-RAM, Matrox Millenium P650 with dual DVI-TFT.
