0.61: How do I prevent Header Scanning?

Every time I navigate to a new folder, viewing images is very slow because the CPU is busy scanning the headers. I would like to turn off the scanning.
In classic xnview, I can disable header scanning in folders (Options|Browser|File List|Misc). How do I turn it off in xnview MP?

Every time I navigate to a new folder, viewing images is very slow because the CPU is busy scanning the headers.
Viewing images is very slow because the program needs to build the thumbnails (which implies an entire file "scan", processing, and saving the thumb) not because it needs to scan the headers.
With this process the file format is saved in the database (for reference, ImagesInfo.Format field).
Hence there is no slowdown due of "scanning headers".
OTOH, if Pierre always scans the headers for the files already in DB then this is indeed an unneeded slowdown, albeit a small one.
Also, you mention
every time. This is a problem. Do you have the DB enabled?

No, if files are already in DB, no file loaded

Why is it only possible to turn it off in classic Xnview?
