Updating Metadata, updating files

concerns MP 0.60.

Files newly created in the current directory that XnViewMP is displaying in it's browser don't display, not even when I hit refresh (F5) manually. Only after changing directories back and forth I can see them.

XnViewMP doesn't display changed metadata if it's changed outside XnViewMP. Refresh doesn't help. XnView works properly.

Best regards
Joachim

On windows?

You means that if current preview is a file changed outside, the metadata are not changed in the panel?

Oh, yes, I should have mentioned. XP SP2.

When in "Thumbnails&labels" mode I see the whole directories content as labelled thumbnails. When I change the metadata of some of the images, these images' labels are not updated, i.e. "refresh" doesn't make XnViewMP reread metadata.

I can confirm that I have the same issue as the OP. Windows 7 64bit w/ version 0.61. When I convert a DNG to Jpeg and add some metadata, the new Jpeg info (normally under the thumbnail) is not there. This includes date/size/and some exif variables I selected.
