0.61 Win8/64: Crash in folder tree w/context->new folder

This is what happened:
  • • MP browser was open, pointed at folder "2005_06a"
    • User switched to another tool and eventually:
    • In the "other" tool, user created "2005_06a\FlatsAndEdits"
    • User was interrupted, moved to other tasks, other applications
After several hours:
  • • User returned to the original task and restored MP to the foreground
    • User expanded the MP folder tree looking for "2005_06a\FlatsAndEdits"
    • "2005_06a\FlatsAndEdits" not found in MP folder tree
    • User used the MP folder tree context menu to create folder "2005_06a\FlatsAndEdits"
    • MP allowed the new folder name, then crashed when user pressed enter

Observe subfolders of 2005_06a: duplicates are listed!

This is a problem with proper synchronization between the MP folder tree and the Windows file system.

Are you able to reproduce this bug?

Hi Pierre...

Not consistently. It has happened a few times.

One piece of info: when the issue occurs, it is on a folder tree on a networked drive (on my old XP machine) which has been SUBST to a drive letter.

I just installed Windows 8.1, so will test in that environment going forward.
