Hi, I'm new here. This program is outstanding! It looks like it will replace my former picture browser ACDSee 3.1, Adobe PS2, and my favorite batch converter in Irfanview.

I have questions in 3 areas.

In the crop mode, I almost always want to crop for 11 x 8.5 inches. I don't see a preset for that. Is there user definable crop settings? I seen "letter" which should be 8.5x11", but when I went to Image>Resize, the Print Size was slightly smaller.What are your suggestions on how to accomplish my goal?

Is there a Redeye removal function (yet)?

When you zoom a photo, is there an icon for a grabber so you can move the image with your mouse?

You can move with right button option>General>Mouse

On the Crop toolbar, I still have some questions. It is nice that you agreed to add 11x8.5 as a preset, but I can think of other standard size papers like 3x5, 4x6, 8x10 and others. Would it be possible in the future to be able to add user defined preset crop values?

On the crop toolbar, I am confused as to what you would enter in the 4 boxes? I used the drop down list and choose Aspect Ratio. I have NO idea on the 1st two boxes, but the other 2 that are separated with <> look like you should be able to put in the desired size of the cropped image. (if I am correct, would that be inches, CM, Pixels, or is there a default for this somewhere?) When I entered 8x10, then click on picture size (and cropped an image), the box says the image is actually 8.78x 10.97". I also tried to enter 8.5x11 (letter size in the USA), but the boxes would not allow a decimal point. When I did click on your preset for letter size, the result image also showed different then 8.5x11 that I expected. I then realized that XnView MP is only using the aspect ratio, but not size of the preset (or manual value). Is this a bug, or how would I use the crop function to save an area of a photo to the aspect ratio AND size of "US Letter" size paper? I tried another test, I choose fixed value 9x6 and cropped a picture. As expected depending on how big the crop box, the print size box shows a different size, but when I enter 9 the box to change the size, the other box should change to 6 if Keep Ratio is checked, but in this case I entered 9, and the other box changed to 6.5. So like I said, either this is a bug or I am not understanding something.

I am a casual "power user", but by no means a professional, so I am so glad you support Inches and centimeters as well as pixels. I realize this new MP version is still in development, but other then the redeye and crop functions, it is everything I need to do my tasks that I currently use 3 programs for, and XnView MP would be more efficient! I like the function, but also like the look and feel. Very intuitive, great looking, and customizable. Thanks for all of your hard work!
