Add drop shadow to fullscreen information

Options > View > Fullscreen > Show information
Would it be possible to add a drop shadow to the displayed text? That way white text would also be visible when the image beneath is very light in that corner. I know I could set a background color but I would prefer a drop shadow as it looks better and is less intrusive.
