dreaming of faster slideshow start

Hi Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet,
Thank you for your great software! XnView 2.13 für Windows seems more stable to me than previous version 2.12. Great, outstanding performance and stability in showing pictures and videos in a randomized mix. Please continue the support of the immortal best Windows XP always and forever in further releases. Windows XP will never die. But Windows 8 is already dead like Windows Vista was before.
Random order XnView slideshow of between 50,000 and 300,000 files or links however can delay 15 minutes before starting. There are some hints to assume this behaviour perhaps could be improved by change of used libraries and/or algorithms and/or routines. When I use Knoppix-Live-DVD to write all paths of 100,000 files in nested directories by gnu-commandline-tool "find" into a textfile, then I am fascinated by the speed of few seconds for this operation. In Windows I have a texteditor, which randomizes 250,000 lines of a textfile in few seconds. Should there not be a possibility to release the handbrake in XnView Slideshow too?
best regards,
