Browse View - constantly redrawing preview

Hi, everyone!

I discovered a bug in xnView 1.80.1 which I could not find mentioned here yet. It is reproducible in the following way:

1. go to the browse view of xnView in a directory with some pictures in it and select one to have it shown in the preview pane.
2. scan a new picture with a flatbed scanner to the shown directory (done with another program, not xnView). It will be shown directly in the filelist (which I switched to "detailed" in the first place, not thumbnail view!)
3. watch the preview go wild. It is redrawn constantly as long as the new file in the filelist changes in size, although it should have no impact on the shown preview, which shows a totally different file. The effect is quite obvious if the preview pane is configured to be the biggest pane in browser view.

As I am scanning a lot of pictures at the moment and I am checking the results with xnView, this is *very* annoying :(

Can anybody fix that?

I say thanks in advance :D

I'm trying to recreate problem above. I see something different:
[X] Auto-refresh -on.
[ ] Select new files -off
While downloading files into a directory (thumbnails view):
Preview window sometimes displays a random image, then returns to selected image.
My thumbnails are shown in 3 columns. I have the first one named "!!!.jpg" always selected. When the preview window displays an unselected image, it is usually the 3rd image. This image would be my upper right thumbnail.

While downloading files into a directory (details view):
Preview window sometimes displays no image (folder??), then returns to selected image.

You have options/Browser/File list/Select new file

I am sorry, but I have *not* checked this option (on purpose), because I don't want a newly scanned file to be selected ;-)

I *have* checked the Option "Auto refresh", but deactivating it does not help :(

Problem not solved, but thanks for the try :)

Could you send a PM with your email address, to send you a test version?
