QuickSlideshow of Files Selected via Windows Explorer

When I select multiple image files and drag'n'drop on xnview window to start a slideshow, xnview loads all the selected files, but shows the last one in the selection list on the screen. When I enable tabs I see the tabs for all the loaded files. The window menu also shows all the selected files. When I click on QuickSlideShow button xnview starts slideshow starting from the last selected file shown and continues to all the other files in the folder, not the selected files only as desired. Is this intended operation or a bug?. It doesn't make sense to me if it is intended. I selected the files so I can do a quickslideshow of the selected files, without having to go through the browser mode. If I wanted to show all files in the folder then I wouldn't bother to drag and drop the selected files, just would have loaded the single file from which to start the slideshow. I would very much like xnview to function the way I intended. Hope it is done in future. Thanks

Just to add that when I switch to browser mode from the viewer I see only the last file in the list selected. It would make sense to preserve the original selection in the browser mode so I can open and do a quickslideshow without having to reselect them in the browser window

when you drag&drop file list, you must see the first one, not the last?

Hi Pierre,
Thanks for your attention. Actually which one I see is not the important point. The important point is that if I click on quick slideshow I want the slideshow to include "ALL" the "selected" files (In any order). Currently the slideshow starts from the last selected file and spills over to the unselected ones (which I am not interested in). The quickslideshow does not include the other selected files. So lets say I selected 4 files File1,File2,File3, File4 and then drag and dropped them on Xnview and then started a quickslideshow, the slideshow starts at File4 and goes to File5, File6... It does not show File1/2/3. Hope I have been able to communicate the issue this time. Thanks

Hi Pierre,
Sorry for the delay. When I use File Next/Previous I see ALL the files in the folder. If I click "next" I keep going forward n the drectory listing until the end. licking previous takes ,me back to the first file in the directory. Yhis is the same as what happens in the quick slideview button. The next/previous or quickslideshow does not stay within the selcted files (as shown on the tabs). Thanls

That was it! Great. Thanks a lot. Should have tinkered with the options a bit.
