[0.64] Clean up 'History' entry in INI file

Hi,

there seems to be no limit for the size of the 'History' recorded in the INI file. While using XnviewMP it grows and grows (unlike Xnview).

I would like to have a function to clear this history, or, better yet, a configurable maximum number of entries in this list (like Xnview).

Thank you!

Thank you. Please excuse me for replying so late, but RL interferes sometimes.
Since posting I have upgraded to v0.68MP, and I had some time to try a few things.

Pierre, I think we are not talking about the same things.

The option you mentioned, for me, is under Tools -> Settings (F12). But that is not what
I was talking about. And, this option is also not working correctly.

What happened: I have a picture open in the browser. It's in a folder containing many images.
I want to copy/move it to a different folder. If I do this with only one pic, it works - I find a
corresponding entry under File > Recent Files. But when I copy/move some more files from the
same folder, they are not recorded in this list. I have to close Xnview and start it again.

Back to my original problem: I have a picture file open in the browser, and want to
copy/move it to a different folder. I use hotkeys Alt-C/Alt-M, and a copy/move window
opens. That's where my problem is: the drop-down list, pictured to the left of 'Expand',
keeps growing and growing. That's what I want to limit, I don't want 50-60 entries there.

Please see the attached screenshot (I hope this works).
