No SPACE between thumbnails

Would you please implement a feature that would allow any user to browser entire folders and have their thumbnails shown without any vertical or horizontal space please. Many thanks;

do you have tried to change option>Thumbnails>Spacing?

10 years have past since last post, still nu solution to set the vertical spacing to 0 ?

Totally agree!
The space between vertical thumbnails is very bad if you have only those kinds of pictures.
Why is the thumbnail frame always a quarter?
What is the thumbnail size setting for if the frame is always quarter shaped?
Photos App has no settings for the layout but is is less space between vertical pictures.
DigiKam has even less space between vertical images but also no customization option...
I want to be able to adjust the shape of thumbnails please!

- this post is about XnView Classic and your screenshot is from XnView MP
- this post is not about thumbnail size
XnView MP already has settings to set custom thumbnail size:
1. change Custom thumbnail size in Settings > Thumbnail > Appearance
2. select Custom in Browser tab > View > Thumbnails size

Thanks for the instructions!
I did the first step:
1. change Custom thumbnail size in Settings > Thumbnail > Appearance
before already, but nothing changed... bit confusing...
but the I did your second step:
2. select Custom in Browser tab > View > Thumbnails size
And now finally it looks great and I have more Thumbnails on my screen to work with!
It was a bit hidden though...
