XnView download

Hi, a photographer friend of mine suggested that I download your photo editing program which I did. I didn't know which version to choose so I chose the standard but what I got doesn't look like the photo editing program you show on your page. It doesn't have XnView on the top and although I can view the thumnails of my photos it doesn't open any, I get na error message and also doesn't have the toolbar or anything. Did I download the wrong program? Thanks, Francisca
