Hi,
first of all: THANK YOU for this great software. It is really what I was looking for to manage my thousands of photos.
Now that I have categorized many of them I would like to choose a category so on the left side of the window I change from the folder tab to the category tab and choose a category.
All the images I've tagged with this category are displayed now. Great. So I want to watch them in fullscreen one after another. I doubleclick on a photo and I see the photo in the viewer so I hit F11 to watch in fullscreen. So far so good.
But now when I want to switch back to the overview of this category by doubleclick or Enter the thumbnails in the overview are not the category selection but the folder of the photo.
Is there a way to jump back and forth between the fullscreen and the category overview?

Go to Tools | Settings | Interface
Try to UNcheck "Synchronize browser when view is closed"

No it doesn't.
But I've played around more and found a way (not that convenient but it works)
When in the choosen category I don't doubleclick on the image or hit enter but hit F11. To leave the fullscreen I hit F11 again or esc. That will bring me back to the exact category screen.
I think this is the way it was ment to be. F11 -> directly fullscreen, Enter or doubleclick -> viewer and from ther you still can switch to fullscreen.
I also see the benefit in this cause it can be very useful to get directed to the folder of the image.

But still: It would be cool if the behaviour could be set in the settings so a doubleclick in the category would directly switch between fullscreen and back to category.
