There are problems with double quotes (") in the name of the folders.

To reproduce:

Case #1

Steps:

1. Select some files
2. Press Alt+M - Move To...
3. In the Destination Edit Box write A "Quotes" Folder (any name which will have double quotes will do)
4. Press Enter/Ok

Expected:

All selected files to be moved in A "Quotes" Folder

Actual:

The folder isn't created, a series of XnView errors appear and the files remain in place

---8<------8<------8<------8<------8<------8<------8<------8<------8<---

Case #2

Steps:

1. Select a folder
2. Try to rename it to A "Quotes" Folder

Expected:

The folder should be renamed

Actual:

Nothing happens. The old name remains in place.

Pfff... Right. A message perhaps? (Perhaps even the text from Windows Explorer?) - something like "Cannot create folder. Check the folder name and/or rights"

Problem still occurs in v0.84: When using double quotes (or other invalid characters like "\") in a filename XnView just does nothing.

Expected behaviour: XnView should display a warning or something informing the user about invalid characters.

'\', ':' & '"' must not be accepted in filename field

Well... ...somewhat. The message is quite cryptic ("Cannot open destination file. Please check permissions") which is repeated "n" times if someone presses Skip - where "n" is the number of files to copy/move. Ok, we have Skip All. Perhaps we can live with this.

@Pierre: Could this be improved a bit more? Or leave it the way it is?

Works fine for me in 0.85 beta 2: Double quotes (") can no longer be entered in the field "Destination".

m.Th.: Also o.k. for you?
