XnView Software

Options -> Startup -> Always Sort By -> Name, Date, etc.

I want this option because if I change the "Sort By" setting to Date while browsing in XnView, then exit XnView and double-click on a file in Windows Explorer and browser again in XnView, I want to have "Sort By" Name set again.

In another words, this option overrides any "Sort By" changes made by XnView in the last session.

Nice, but what about other users, if they use other option, they couldn't change this option on every startup

Edit: OK, I think I know what you mean, but my suggestion is more universal.

Your suggestion covers all options which I think is dumb, XnView should remember all options and be overridden by a few other special ones after.
