It would be nice no create panorma-pictures (they are called this was here?!) not just horizontally or vertically but in table format (combination of the two):

A good suggestion. Currently, it's possible to combine several images to a table, but quite some hazzle (see "How to combine images to an image mosaic?"). So specifying "Horizontal", "Vertical" or "Table" would be good. When selecting "Table", the number of rows or columns has to be specified, too.

Note: For creating contact sheets there is a special function.

okay, comic strip is a better name, but my main idea was the table-mode.
(I use the german translation, here words areN#t very very clear and they do not match with the help files)
I want comic strips ;)

¤ "Table-mode" or "Build a page" is the same, isn't it?
- This is planned on the (fake) box you can see in the linked thread, simply by wrapping stripes of images…

- Anyway, that mode might be considered by Pierre as a new advantage of the program.
