Preview shows only part of newest picture

Dear supporters,
I am using xnview to preview photos which are transfered from my camera to a folder on my MacBook via a Transcend WiFi Card. If a new picture is loaded into the folder, xnview shows it directly. The problem is that the Preview starts showing the picture but gets stuck - I see only a part of the picture, the rest remains grey. I have the impression that the preview starts before the picture is fully downloaded into the folder. Is there a way to delay the Preview or another solution for this problem?
I would like to use it for a live preview during photo shootings and it is very tedious to hit "refresh" for each picture.
