Hello
I have created a diaporama. I would like it to take it away with on a USB key and be able to see it on an android tablet or an Ipad.
I have clicked the box use relative pathnames in the SLD file, but it does not seem to work.
I also tried to change the pathnames in the SLD file using the notepad but it does not work either.
I wonder I I understand correctly the use of this box.
Any help would be welcome.

Hello
I just realize that my post was formulated in very bad English (I use the french version).
Please excuse me . Here is a second try :
I did a slideshow on my PC and I want to play it on an Ipad or an Android Tablet. Therefore I need the slideshow to be"portable".
I tried to generate the SLD file with "relative directories". But I get in the SLD file absolute file names. Whether the "relative directories option" is ticked or not, the result is identical:
In the SLD file, there is the complete path:"//diskstation/........../image.jpg"
Is this a known bug?
is there any known work around?
I imagine it is possible to manually modify the SLD file using the notepad . But what should I write to indicate it is a relative path?
Thank you for your help.

Hello, I've never used this feature but I've had a look and created a SLD file that is portable within Windows by using the
More options... > Save relative paths in SLD file option.
You are placing the slide show image files in a folder with the SLD file, are you? More generally, if you want to export a folder structure to be portable with the SLD file, I think you would need to save the SLD file to the desired position relative to the structure in order to define the correct relative paths.
I can move the folder in the ZIP within Windows and the slide show runs, but I can't test whether it is portable to a different operating system, you can test that...
Edit:
Opening the SLD file in a text editor, it only contains settings, including the [relative] paths to the slide show images, so presumably it is necessary to have XnView installed in order to run it? But XnView 'Classic' is Windows-only, and I don't see slide show support in XnViewMP 0.68, which is cross-platform for Mac OS and Linux, but not Android as far as I know...

To run a SLD slideshow that is portable under Windows on an Ipad or Android Tablet I think you would need an application installed on the Ipad or Android Tablet that can display SLD slideshows, if suitable software is available...

Hello Ctoday
thank you so much . I had tickes the use relative directories but somehow, the directories written in the SLD fil were absolute. May be because the pictures and sld file were on an distant server.
Using notepad I modified the directory and now it woeks no matter where it is on my PC.
I thank you for all the information.
I will try on the I pad and let you know.
Thanks again.
