SVG thumbnails of white designs

Hi !
I have several SVG files which only contain a single white filled icon, and when seen as thumbnails nothing appears, since they are rendered on a white background.
I've tried changing the background checker pattern colours, but they are used only in single image preview, not in thumbnail list...
How can I see non full white thumbnails of these SVG files?
Thanks,
Shores

Please compress the file. Archives (ZIP, 7-Zip, RAR, TAR/TGZ etc.) can be uploaded as attachments.

Having the background (
Tools »
Settings... »
Thumbnail »
Appearance »
Thumbnail cell) “shine through” transparent areas of the thumbnails would be a great enhancement. This already works for folder thumbnails.
Another example (PNG):

Png transprency in thumbnails.

Hi!
This bug is still present in the latest version: not only the thumbnail background of transparent SVGs is always full white, but event the preview and full image backgrounds are full white, instead of the correct checkered pattern...

Still present in v. 0.82b1 (or 0.83b1 , don't know which is the correct version number!).

You're lucky you can see them. The XnView MP Search finds all 510 of the .SVG files in my DVD folder, but won't display any of them.
Pour Pierre . . .
Vous êtes chanceux, vous pouvez les voir. Le XnView MP Recherche trouve tous les 510 des fichiers .SVG dans mon dossier de DVD, mais ne montrera pas l'un d'eux!

As I said in another thread, v. 0.81 DOESN'T display SVGs at all, but this is resolved in the beta of the opcoming version that you can find in the beta forum... but still no transparent background even in the beta version!

Awesome. Thanks for the update Shores. I'm hoping to avoid (either) converting these SVGs to PNGs online -or- one-by-painful-one out of Inkscape. I had no idea that SVG was a standard encompassing so many different applications.
See below?
The following is an SVG file!

Feature is still missing in latest XnViewMP 0.84 x64: still no transparency in SVG thumbnails , so still white SVGs are invisible in thumbnails as they're rendered on a white bg.
Just to ask, will it be implemented or not?
thanks!
