Export Rating/Color Label/Categories to xmp/iptc

Hi,
I read several discussion about exporting Rating/Color Label/Categories to xmp/iptc and did not found a suitable already existing functionality. So here my suggestion:
As an alternate to Settings/Metadata/Rating & Label where the Rating and Color Label information is saved to the embedded xmp metadata each time when rating or color label is changed since the option is selected (and not for already rated files) please add an export functionality to the batch convert actions (or e.g. enrich the IPTC-IIM/XMP action) where
a) the user has the options to choose which information from the database will be exported for selected files: Rating, Color Label, Categories
b) the user has the options to choose whether the information shall the stored in the embedded xmp metadata or as a xmp sidecar file for selected files. Where the selected file does not support embedded xmp a sidecar will be created by default even if embedded xmp is chosen by the user.
This function may replace the command "Update files from database" from the view dropdown where the metadata is written to a xmp sidecar file so far (xnview 0.68, 32-bit, Ubunutu).
Kind regards
