Double click opens image in associated program not viewer

Double click on a thumbnail in the browser opens the image in the associated program not in the Viewer...
Settings... > Interface > Switching mode = Browser <> Viewer
Something in my settings or a bug?
XnViewMP 0.69 x32 ZIP on Windows 7 SP1 x64 -- 0.66 x32 ZIP same, 0.61 crash...

Yes, tested JPG, PNG, TIF...
Expected behaviour is to open image in a Viewer tab, as in Classic?
Images open in the image viewer with which the file formats are associated...
Tested XnViewMP x64 ZIP on Windows 7, and x32 ZIP on Windows XP on a library computer.

yes, i can't reproduce, could you try to rename your .ini?
