XnView Software

Hey there,

I had to make a screen capture from a very large document and I saved it in TIFF format. Its important to remark that this file is viewed like a very large image. Now I need to print it or to convert it into a multiple pages PDF file.
Can I make it using xnview? Would you please tell me how?

Printing: You can print an image from XnView using File > Print... or you should be able to print it from the default image viewer on your computer. Is there a factor you haven't mentioned?

Multiple-page PDF file: You would want to divide the image into, for example, four images on a grid and then save those images as pages in a four-page PDF file?

A 'split' function isn't available in XnView software although it has been requested periodically, but a versatile split function has recently been introduced in the freeware program Irfanview as 'Export image ties'. Either program can then be used to create a multi-page PDF or TIFF file.

Edit:

Printing an image as tiles is an option available in some printer drivers, if you check your printer interface. Adobe Reader also appears to have an option to print a PDF page as tiles using the 'Poster' option, if you can figure it out.

Alternatively, here in the U.K. I could print at A3 size (twice A4 or about twice U.S. Letter size) at a local library, or go to a print shop and have an image printed on larger sizes of paper for a suitable charge.
