0.71 - 0.72 Can't import keyboard shortcuts from same drive

Hello
I am on Windows 7 64bits with the zipped version of XnviewMP and ever since I upgraded to 0.71 I have been having trouble with importing keyboard shortcut presets (.keys files) into the preferences.
At first I would press import, select the file and confirm, but nothing was imported, then I randomly tried loading the same file from another directory and it imported correctly.
So I later found out that if the .keys file resides in the same drive letter that XNViewMP is running from, import fails, if I copy the file elsewhere on the system, like the desktop, or a thumbdrive, or anywhere outside the drive where the application is ruining from it imports the configuration correctly.
Hope this helps fix whatever is wrong.

Ok, update on information.
It seems that some times XNView randomly succeeds in importing from the same drive letter, but it still fails often. Maybe the problem resides in importing from subfolders of the install folder
I don't know yet, I'll have to test further.
Also it seems to randomly reset my keyboard shortcut preferences from time to time, just upgraded to 0.72, had trouble before successfully importing my key preferences, and since the original post until now, I viewed some images and after a while my custom settings where gone and had to re-import the key config.
Could this be a corrupt ini preferences file? I have been using this one across a few portable versions. Would starting over with a clean fresh install solve this?

I use XNView as a portable app so I keep it in my D: drive as in "D:/Duarte/Apps/XNView" and I keep an exported version of the .keys keymap in a sufolder called "/DPFR", no weird Unicode characters or symbols in the path, just regular ASCII text (I know some applications have problems with this).

really strange, i can't reproduce the problem

Yep, I really can't figure it out either, and it has just happened again yesterday, my custom assigned key shortcuts wee gone. And I had to import them again and the subfolder didn't work, had to manually copy the file elsewhere and import from there.
My "install" is pretty standard, not much customized except the keys and I use the dark theme.
I'll try to make a clean install and redefine my key bindings and everything else from scratch and see if the problem persists.

Ok, I did a clean portable install the other day (new xnview.ini, no recycling of old settings), rebuilt all my customizations from scratch and the problem seems to be gone, my custom keyboard shortcuts seem to be memorized and don't randomly reset from time to time, so maybe this was really some sort of a corrupt install or ini file.
