Support for emf and gzip compressed images

Can you please support EMF images? The only program on my OS (Ubuntu) which can handle it at the moment is LibreOffice.
Can you make XnViewMP read gzip and bzip2 compressed images? Gimp for example can do this and for some formats like xcf or svg saving and reading them gzip compressed isn't that uncommon on Linux systems.
