How to disable categories?

Can anyone tell me how to disable categories. I know how to disable the category pane, but is there a way to disable xnviewmp from gathering category info? Thanks all.

You would like that XnViewMP doesn't create categories from file?

Yes because most of my pictures are random pictures downloaded from the internet and the tags make no sense to me as I didn't put them there. I mostly use xnviewmp as a great substitute for windows explorer. Is there an option to disable Xnviewmp from grabbing category info?

Settings>Metadata>Import XMP subject...
