Hello Pierre.
1. Is it possible to display the actual 'words' in the column header associated with the lables and review in Detail view ?
e.g. Excellent Good Average Fair Poor Unrated, and Important Work Personal To Do Later
2. Is it possible to add an icon above the column headers to assign Label/Rating ?
3. If the original images are locked for read only, can I still assign labels and ratings without altering the original metadata ?
4. I don't use a thumnail database, can I disallow listings of previously entered directories in the Catalog>Cached Directory ?
Thank you much.

Why you don't desactivate the setting?

Sorry Pierre, I don't understand.
XnViewMP
Version 0.72 x64 (Dec 19 2014)
Libformat version 6.64
Maybe this will clear what I'm asking if it is possible to do 'at this time' with XnViewMP...
1. Does the latest XnViewMP allow cutomization of the toolbar (#1 & #2 Circles) as 'icons' for assigning Colour/Ratings ?
2. Does the latest XnViewMP allow words (e.g. To Do, etc), not icons for the Colour/Rating column, as in image above ?
Why you don't desactivate the setting?
The images are locked as read only on a server. Can I still assign Colour and Ratings and 'not' alter the original. ?
I'm wondering if XnViewMP will save the Colour/Ratings in it's own database, or other since I can't alter the originals.
you would like to remove entries from database??
I would like to stop entries entirely from being written to the cache directory.
I've disabled the "Enable thumbnail caching" but it's still recording every folder I view with XnViewMP.
I am wondering if it's possible to have 'no' history of visited folders ?
Thank you.

Desactivate Settings>Metadata>Export rating/color

Thank you Pierre.
I would like to add the unavailable as feature requests.
Should I post seperately to the feature request section or is it OK I finish here ?
Best regards.

Thank you.
I'm liking XnViewMP better than Adobe Bridge.
Cheers for now.
