can't open .vff file

I just downloaded the standard version of XnView to view a .vff file that was emailed to me. When I attempted to open it with XnView I got this warning...
Format of the file <filename.vff> could not be determined
Please advise.

Just found downloaded Visiform. It opened my file.

Trying the Nir Sofer variant of
what is .vff his database mumbles something about
SageThumbsImage.vff.
