How can i delete Pics with Mac Keyboard?

I'm a 'keyboard-lover' and so far i do not like to klick the mouse.
Is there any Key on the Mac Keyboard that makes unwanted pictures deleted? The only way to delete pictures i found was to right-klick the mouse or to use the delete-button from the menu.
The ArrowKey and Cmd+ArrowKey doesn't work to delete picturefiles.
Sorry, I'm not very familiar with mac, so there might be another key for 'delete' that do not know...
