I tried to open an image which is 32247x22802 on 64 Bit XnViewMP 0.72.

Image format: JPEG, coded with Huffman, YCrCb 8 Bit per Channel, 92% quality, ~70 MByte compressed

Machine:

Asus X99-E WS
Intel Xeon E5 2637v3 4 x 3,5 - 3,7 GHz
32 GByte Kingston Value RAM reg ECC DDR4 2133 (Micron Chips)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX Titan X 12 GByte GDDR5 VRAM
Intel 750 Series SSD PCIe NVMe
4 TB Hitachi Deskstar HDD
NEC MultiSync EA244WMi
Windows 8.1 Pro 64 Bit retail

XnViewMP just closes while loading. Is there a canvas limit?
Do you need a sample file?

Not this particular one because of copyright issues, but I can create a file with other content but same size.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.75 or later. Could you please try and confirm the bug fix, BloodySword?
