jpgs from raw file as preview and version handling

Hello,
I am looking for a DAM solution that I would mostly use for photography.
My file structure provides for any filename.raw usually at least one ../output/filename.jpg, sometimes additional ../output/filename*.jpg that are all derived from the raw file.
Ideally, I should be able to set up XnView to handle these files collectively. That is, I would add the rawfile to my catalog, but it's appearance will be determined by the corresponding .jpg file and if multiple .jpg files exist they should be listed/accessible as derivatives.
Then, as I add information to this set of image files, I will want it to be included in the .jpgs as well as to be added to the sidecar file that comes with the raw file.
Is this possible through XnView? It would be a really big plus!
Thanks
Bastian
