Minor bug: Slow transition from windowed to fullscreen

Hello,
this is not a critical bug, but it is a bit annoying.

Steps to reproduce:
1) "Fit to window, all" or "Fit to windows, large only"
2) View large picture in a viewer in windowed mode.
3) Press F11.

Now, it seems to me that it changes boundaries of the viewing region - left, top, right and bottom boundary and for each change, the image gets resized to fit the new viewing region. So the image get resized four times, but it is not necessary for the first three times.

You may, for curiosity, try pressing F11 while in fullscreen mode. Now, the boundaries are changed at once and the transition is much faster.

Ok, only in view mode not from browser?

No, pressing F11 in browser doesn't do anything.

I believe it is the same problem as in this thread.
I wish there would be solution... (and I don't particularly like the FS lite solution).

Why? If you don't want to modify your picture, this mode is quick.

Because 'FS lite' is a workaround for MDI limitations of the original full screen viewer.
=> you have to update and maintain 'FS Lite' along with the Viewer.
(more work, some discrepancies with Viewer and more chance for bugs to creep in)

My comment is more from a development point of view than about the end-user interface.
