Can not Open the illustrator file

Dear Sir,
When I use Xnview ( version 1.80.1) to open the illustrator file,
the warning message was pop up:
Format of the file file-name.ai could not be determined!

Do you have AFPL ghostscript? Only some AI format can be viewed...

I appreciate your kind help.
Yes, I had installed AFPL ghostscript, and if I use version 1.68.1 to
open the illustrator file, I can Open it.
