File filter support for "standalone" Viewer mode

In my Windows 7 x64
1) "standalone" Viewer does not respects file filters when i launch XnViewMP by clicking on image in Windows Explorer (i.e. Explorer > Viewer).

But it does respect filters if
2) if launch Browser and then go into Viewer mode (i.e. Explorer > Browser > Viewer)
3) or if i double click on image in Viewer and go back to Viewer (i.e. Explorer > Viewer > double click on image > Browser > double click on image in Browser > Viewer)

For example if i have 10 files in one folder (6 images, 1 video, 1 txt, and 2 binary files) then XnViewMP will show me:
1) all 10 files, including not supported formats (Explorer > Viewer)
2) only 6 images (Explorer > Browser > Viewer)
3) only 6 images (Explorer > Viewer > double click on image > Browser > double click on image in Browser > Viewer)

So... Is it possible to add file filter support to standalone Viewer mode without slowing down the image opening/folder reading?
