How to install in Korora 22?

I just downloaded the Linux64.tgz and expanded it.
I don't see any instructions in the readme for how to install the software.
I'm probably missing something really obvious here, but I'm not sure what to do to install it.
Sorry :/

When I extracted it all the permissions were changed to me:me. I figured that wasn't good so I chowned everything to root and gave xnview.sh execute permissions.
Still got an error.
Code: Select all
$ sudo ./xnview.sh
./xnview.sh: line 5: /home/me/Downloads/Software/XnView/XnView: Permission denied
(This is my first time trying to install from a tgz file, so I apologize for the dumb questions.)

I didn't realize that's a run script, thought it was an install script. I guess I should probably move the whole program out of my downloads directory.
One last problem, during startup I'm getting:
Code: Select all
Fontconfig error: line 23468335: syntax error
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
Fontconfig error: line 25384191: syntax error
Fontconfig error: Cannot load default config file
All fonts in the program currently appear monospace.
