XnViewMP 0.76.1 for Windows 32 bit.
Browser is set to "view as Details", columns selected are Name, Size, Created date, Properties, Type.
For some strange reason, when I am moving slider which changes thumbnails size or if I select new thumbnails size from toolbar menu, column Properties in browser becomes empty. It can become empty all at once or Properties will disappear for each file selected in browser's list.
As a side effect, XnViewMP after this procedure totally forgets that it was capable of switching Browser <> View on double click or Enter pressing, and instead opens files in XnView Classic, because all image files in this system are associated with XnView Classic.

Detailed walkthrough with pictures on how to get such behavior of XnView MP 0.76.1 x64 for Windows
(might be not the only way, but the one that works for me)

1. Download zip archive with abovementioned viewer and unpack somewhere.

2. During first start select following options.


3. After browser window appears, set its viewing mode to Details (an old-school Excel-alike list of files).

4. Next step: navigate to Settings and change thumbnails caching options like it's shown on screenshot, because you don't like thumbnails and caching of them.


5. Be loyal to your general policy about thumbnails, deselect every option which mentions thumbnails creation.


6. Return from Settings back to Browser. Of course, you don't like thumbnails, but why not move this funny thumbnails size changing slider; if anyone will ask why do you touch thumbnails related controls if you had set viewing mode to Details, answer you did that accidentally, they can't prove the opposite. Look what a nice window appears!


7. Click OK. SOMEONE HAVE STOLEN CONTENTS OF SOME COLUMNS IN MY COOL EXCEL-ALIKE LIST!!11111
