Defaults for the Brightness, Contrast, Gamma Balance Icon

Wondering if anyone can help me on this

When I first downloaded the new version of XNView, I saw it had an icon called

Adjust Brightness, Contrast, Gamma, Balance.

This was perfect.

Most of my pics were a little dark. I would just open the pic, and hit the icon and the pics were perfect.

Somehow I must have changed the defaults on this icon, cause now when I open pics the defaults are awful.

I even went back to the original pic files, I had and tried to hit the button and the results are so different.

So the question is this

What are the numbers of the original default for this Icon. I can't seem to get it right?

If that isn't known, is there any way for me to go back to one of my pervious pictures, that I changed, and see what level the brightness, contrast, and gamma balance are for that pic, so I can manually change the default for that icon.

I hope this makes sense

Thanks for any help

:) Hello !
- There is a button "Default values" on the dialogue-box, you might press it first when processing a new pic…

 Kind regards,

1) Try the restore previous button
2) Try the restore default button
3) The default values for everything except gamme is 0, the default value for gamma is 1.00
4) When you get the crappy looking images, are you trying to use the adjustments on an image you previously adjusted or on a new image? If it's one you already adjusted, then the adjustments are piling up and making it look bad.
5) Go tools->options->view and look and see if you have gamma correction turned on.
