XnView Software

I was surprised that XNView doesn't allow to make gif. So I've searched on the web a free gif maker, and it was very difficult to find a simple software to make that. Could XNView do that ??

One way would be to add Animated GIF to the formats available in Create » Slide Show... » Create Video....
As an alternative, Create » Animation... could launch a wizard:

1. Color depth
   • Options as in Image » Convert to Binary/Grey/Colours...
2. Canvas size
   • First/Largest/Smallest image
   • Fixed
3. Treatment of source images with dimensions that are different from those of the animation's canvas
   • Alignment
     • Options as in Image » Canvas Size... (Image position, Background colour etc.)
   • Scaling
     • Options as in Tools » Options... » View » Auto Image Size
4. Duration/delay of frames
5. Number of iterations/loops
