I have lost the top bar in preview external window, the one used to move around the window when the preview is detached from the thumbnail window. Then I can have the thumbnails in one monitor and the window preview in the other.

This has happen after I rotated my display, as my monitor can rotate, and returned to the old position. Xnview was not very happy having one monitor rotated and the preview window in the other monitor. After this I can recover temporally the top bar closing the previe, making it a tab and detaching it again. But it returns to his problem as soon I close and open again XnView. :? :bugconfirmed:

Uninstalling and installing the program doesn't solve the problem as it keeps the exact same preferences. How can I delete the preferences in order to reset the settings of Xnview?

The only solution that I found is to return to an older version of Xnview, 0.75, that I had in my computer. I can not download any other version as only the last version (that doesn't work) is available. :|

Not sure what folder is that one.
My installation folder, located in c:\Program Files\XnViewMP\ is deleted when I uninstall it. It can not be the origin of the problem. The settings are stored in somewhere else as windows appear in the same locations than before uninstalling it.

Apart of that I can not locate any additional folder that has the letters .xnviewmp or xnviewmp in any folder of the hard drives, apart of the shortcut folder.

Unless you are talking about the registry here?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\XnView\XnViewMP
