Save as & compression ratio

I've switched over to XnView MP (very neat!) but now lost between all the settings.
In the past with Classic I had an option to change the compression ratio when I select Save as after some editing but no longer?
All newly edited/saved graphics now much larger.
I've been through the Tools > Settings over and over but cannot find it?
Any suggestion?

In the viewer: File > Format settings... Write tab

It's well hidden, there is an unresolved technical issue in linking from the save dialogue... :(

Thanks cday, so simple if you know how, I never noticed the "Write" and kept on opening "Read" :(
Much appreciated!

In fact it could be nice if we can access to "Format settings" window from the "Save As" pop-up.
Like in XnView Classic.

Yes, I've to agree, it's a pity that it is no longer available. Most graphic editing programs include this option as soon as I select Save as, IrfanView, FastStone Capture, PhotoShop, RealWorld Paint, PhoXo, PhotoFiltre, PixBuilder Studio, InPaint, etc. Only MS Paint matches XnView MP.
